Draft for legal review. Before publication this text is checked by a Finnish lawyer or a data protection adviser. The wording on data subject rights, the legal basis for processing and retention periods has to be confirmed separately.

This page explains what data QuorumLab Finland receives through the site and how it is used.

The site exists for a first enquiry, a service request, contact with our Finnish partner Soft Dev Oy and work with open data about companies, organisations and public figures.

Who is responsible for processing

The data controller is Soft Dev Oy, the Finnish partner of QuorumLab. The company decides the purposes and means of processing the data received through this site and answers requests about it.

Soft Dev Oy
Y-tunnus 3335497-2
VAT FI33354972

Contracts are signed with Soft Dev Oy, and the Finnish company issues the invoices. Contact details sent through the site may be used to prepare a reply, a contract, an invoice or further correspondence about the request.

What data we receive

Through the contact forms the site may receive:

  • a name;
  • an email address;
  • a company website;
  • a description of the task;
  • an agency name, if the enquiry comes through the agency form;
  • a country, a specialism and an approximate number of projects, where a partner enquiry needs them.

We ask you not to send confidential documents, contracts, internal material, client data or non public information through the form.

How the data is used

Data from the form is used only to answer the enquiry and handle the request.

It is needed to understand the task, look at open data about the site or the company, reply by email and suggest a next step.

The data is not used for marketing mailings without consent and is not passed to third parties outside the handling of the enquiry.

Cookies and analytics

The site does not use cookies to track visitors and does not connect any external web analytics.

Technical cookies needed for the site to work may be used, but they collect no personal data and are not passed to third parties.

If analytics are added later, we will update this page and say which service is in use and what data it collects.

Processors

The site and the email run on external providers: hosting and a mail service. They process data on our instructions and only to the extent needed to deliver a message and keep the site running.

The data is not passed to advertising networks, data brokers or any other third party outside the handling of the enquiry.

Open sources

The work of QuorumLab involves analysing open sources: websites, records in open databases, publications, public profiles, search results, Reddit and other available material.

Where the work involves information about a company, an organisation or a person, we use only the data needed to carry out the task and verify the sources.

Confidential material

Please do not send the following through the form:

  • contracts;
  • internal documents;
  • client databases;
  • commercial terms;
  • personal data of third parties;
  • non public material.

If such material is needed later, we agree the way it is transferred separately.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for six months from the last contact and then deleted.

If an enquiry turns into a contract, the data is kept longer: as long as the contract and mandatory legal requirements demand, accounting rules among them.

Your rights

You can ask us to clarify, correct or delete the data sent through the site, where keeping it is no longer needed for the request, the contract or a mandatory legal basis.

You can also ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.

For questions about data processing use the contact form or the email address given on the contact page.
